Join me in celebrating this incredible feat!
I've got a confession to make. I had no idea what to expect last week. Heck, this week.
You see last Saturday Bookbub sent Throne of Silver, the kick off to the Silver Fae Series to readers far and wide. Meanwhile, I took my youngest daughter to a Dressage Rally to help her teammates. I spent most of the day with a dear friend I haven't seen since pre-Covid. The day was heavenly and kept my mind busy. I didn't constantly click into my KDP dashboard to check sales or even refresh my browser a million times to look at my rank. By Saturday evening, I was 1300 in the ENTIRE KINDLE STORE. Let me repeat that, and pinch me, if you'd be so kind, 1300 in the ENTIRE KINDLE STORE. I topped out in a number of super competitive categories at #3. (The top 2 were in the Top 100 of the Amazon Store.)
I was flabbergasted. I was humbled. I might have cried in joy. I might have cried period. Did I stay up all night checking sales and rank? I did not. I went to bed, exhausted from getting up at 3:30 AM to drive to the Dressage Rally, and probably a tad overwhelmed that my book baby performed better than I'd ever expected.
THRONE OF SILVER remains in the Top 10,000 of the ENTIRE PAID STORE and seems to be sticking. If you haven't snagged your own copy yet, feel free to help keep it stuck there!
For those who bought copies, thank you. Your belief in me as a writer encourages me to make the next book and the next series even better.

WITCHY GOOD BOOKS
This was their world.
I was the strange one. I was the prey.
I’d never been ‘normal’. Unless you considered invisible stalkers, animal telepathy, and reading people’s thoughts normal. Oh, and the panic attacks that came out of nowhere. Those were fun.
So, you’d think when goblins abduct my mom and an elf assassin claims to be my guardian, I wouldn't totally freak. Not so much.
Cue panic attack.
He tells me I'm a halfling. Not those cute little guys. I'm half elf and half human. A freak. As if that wasn’t bad enough, I discover just why my mom never talked about her past. Like the fact that she is the rightful heir to a literal fairy tale kingdom. Only this one is not filled with cute little pixies and singing animals. Oh, no. It’s darker—much, much darker.
Now, I’m forced to endure the trials of each of the deadly fae courts. If I win, my so-called family won’t kill me. But what will it take to win? The last piece of my humanity?
Princess of the Elves is the first novel in a modern portal fantasy series sure to thrill you with quirky characters, magic, and a slow burn romance. Each book is a continuation of the story and is meant to be read in order.
