In celebration of Fierce Females everywhere (and a day dedicated to Fierce Mothers), I've reduced the price of my 3 series starters for this weekend.

All my books feature smart, powerful women and men who support them (unless of course he is the villain.) There's a review of WIDE AWAKE from last year. I happened to stumble upon it again the other day so it is fresh on my mind.. Basically it said, "It's okay for men to grope you." If you read THE GODDESS CHRONICLES and you're familiar with Gigi, that is not the case whatsoever. Breas, the man (actually god) in question, was Goddess Brigit's husband in Celtic Mythology. My retelling creates an explanation why Brigit married Breas--an attempt to create peace that wound up failing miserably. In TGC, Breas' duplicit acts are only presented to the reader through interactions with Gigi, and a few brief conversations with Gigi's Gram and Uncle Mark. Both adults respect her feelings and encourage her to find her own truth--I mean, she is a reincarnated goddess and all that. Neither adult knew the actual history of what occurred during the marriage between Brigit and Breas, but Gigi remembers fragments of their past relationship. Her instincts inform her he's dangerous, but in WIDE AWAKE, she's still trying to find herself. Heck, she tries to find herself through the first three books. I can't speak to your teenage years or your past relationships, but I found myself questioning many aspects of my character and identity through my early years. I still do sometimes, but I won't take shit from any man (or woman) anymore, but it took me a long time to get there. Gigi figures herself out and without spoilers, she beats Breas in his own sick game and manages to find her true love.

Sorry for going on a bit of a tangent there, but it's been that kinda week, and I am fiercely protective of my fierce female characters and all women.
